The West Coast Pirates take on the Canterbury Bulldogs in their first home game for the season in the SG Ball competition, the premier competition for Under 18s in Australia.

Pirates supporters are encouraged to come and support the team at Ken Allen Field, Hilton (located on Jeffery St and is Fremantle Roosters’ home ground). Kick off is at 11am. Gold coin entry.

It promises to be a fun day for all, with the inflatable pirate ship for the kids, and selected West Coast Pirates and NRL supporter wear available for purchase. Food and drink will also be available courtesy of the Fremantle Roosters.

The Pirates are looking for their first win of the season this Saturday after going down to the Parramatta Eels 44-12 last weekend. Winger Jake Doubikin once again scored for the Pirates, his second try from as many games. Samuel DeFiddes and Callum Robinson-McLellan also scored, with all conversions unsuccessful. Second-rower Keelyn Tuuta-Edwards was once again voted Pirates’ best player by the referees.
